I'm using SmartSteam, but it seems like it doesn't work with Metro 2033. The game just doesn't show up in the list of installed games. You need to use MiSteam to get it to work. Does anyone know why this happens and will SmartSteam be updated so it can be used as well?

I didn't played Metro 2033 with steam but using regular cracked version. If it doesn't show up in SmartSteam, try adding this into SmartSteam.ini

New version available
- DLC Patched
- Install SmartSteam on other directory, you need to open SmartSteam.ini and enable & change SteamPath
- Plugins support

Since steam now begin uploading all minidumps to valve server, I now disable minidumps creation by default...
x64launcher.exe and all its child process will not be patched.

Sorry this didn't work. have you got any other ideas?

EDIT: Now using SKIDROW's 1.02 crack without Steam.

I think it would be better if the patcher will subscribe to the APPID of the rule:

  1. Set of Subscribed APPIDs = (Installed APPIDs) + (Real Subscribed APPIDs) + (Selected in SmartSteam.ini APPIDs)

edit: Turns out it doesn't work. ;) The game shows up in the list of installed games but then crashes with the error message: .DLL missing. This doesn't happen with MiSteam.

Thanks! It works... :)

Maybe this should be added to the ini by default because many people were having problems with Metro 2033 and SmartSteam.

None of my games start, and occasionally I get the missing .dll error as well. It seems like it's really simple though it's too bad I can't get it to work.

I know that feature of Steam, but i mean using the same SmartSteam and trought modify something in SmartSteam.ini. As far i know with undeadpatch that were possible, I just want to show that i am playing a game that is a steam game, not a non-steam game.
