Hi.. I downloaded it.. Updated it to 4260 but i'm getting a weird error after launching the game..

It says Engine Error : No permissions to run 'cstrike'

Any help?

make sure you have installed all the updates in chronological order, and make sure all of them were pointed to were hl2.exe was
so from cumulative patc to 59 to 60

OB-Source Dedicated Server
-working on 1.0.0.40 & 1.0.0.41 (4248,4252,4259,4260) - on drummwill versions
-adds new shortcuts named "Source Dedicated Server", on the Desktop and Start Menu Programs
-only dedicated server
-size 840KB

Download, extract, install OB_SRCDS_v50.exe where hl2.exe is.

steam needs to be installed
this is a short hand from revemu, the current version needs some steam services to be running in the back
but you can turn steam off
make sure steam is NOT running when you start this
but make sure you have it installed

I wasn't to enable lan with Hamachi what so ever. Tried alias etc'... no go :(

  • multiplayer ob binaries.gcf (59 > 60)
  • multiplayer ob mac binaries.gcf(22 > 23)
