it doesnt have Source dedicated server when i install your CS:S [drumwill] i need that is there a installer that i can get source dedicated server? pls reply! |

@ FLUFFY You will have to install it using hldsupdatetool first and then patch it later on Or get a patched one readymade from some site, if you dont want to take the botheration  The universal installer for all the hl2 games is hldsupdatetool.exe http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe download install and then run using command line: hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game "counter-strike source" -dir . (the dot after -dir is required) |

@ Fluffy It gives error and disconnects...(so quick you wont be able to see it) Reason: The server is not patched properly and is rejecting your client (Steam Validation rejected ?) Is your server patched? How did you patch it. Next time give more specific details with your queries please, like how did you patch or is it Linux or Windows etc to determine.

@ Fluffy If it says : Incorrect price blob version! Update your server! Go to this site for more details http://forums.srcds.com/viewpost/23576#pid23576 But updating is the same as installing... and it doesn't give any error normally !!! Did you go for the Drummwill's Tutorial on Server !!! Have a look a brilliant one. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=56768 Go exactly as mentioned and you will be thru. Forget about this server you already have...(perhaps downloaded and its fu'kd up) |
