Orcs must die 2 is still not working, it pops up the shader error thingy, it did not happen as of 2.5.7 and it happens with both 2.5.8 and 2.5.9. Dont know if it a local problem, but it IS a greenluma problem. |

I have read the FAQ but I'm a bit still confused. I already have Team Fortress 2 on steam and about to install Portal 2 from Goar5. Can I use GreenLuma to download workshop maps for Portal 2 and should I play Portal 2 offline or can you play it with out signing in to steam? EDIT: Thanks guys!! I got Portal 2 working with GreenLuma. Only problem is now the Workshop maps downloaded to common/Portal 2/portal2/maps/workshop so opening with console doesn't work. For it to work you move the downloaded files(bsp) from folder(s) example 559839212183412017 to common/Portal 2/portal2/maps and it now should pick up from console. But now the workshop maps are downloading into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\123916617\ugc\referenced. Does anyone know how to play these maps from console and do I have to more them to somewhere in particular? |

Dont know if it a local problem, but it IS a greenluma problem. I am having the same issue.. I found that my ACF file had been reset (when it comes to paths) to nothing. I setup the paths, but it made no difference. When launching from with GL, I get an error that says Unable to Open --> <SteamDir>\steamapps\<myloginid>\valvetestapp201790\testapp.exe. When launching the EXE directly, you get a shader missing error (to which you can see the shader file in question within the DATA.ZIP file). I rolled my install back to GL 2.5.7 which was working before the Steam update hit me .. but still had the same problems. I discovered the new 2.5.9 update, tried it yesterday. Same issue. I even went to the extent of blowing everything away except for Steam.exe/depotcache/steamapps/userdata, firing up legit-steam, switching to beta mode, firing it up again, exiting, patching with 2.5.9, and trying again. No dice.. The ACF is configured to use 201790, but the game is configured to use a different appid (this worked previously without issues -- stock ID from Tankslap's patches). Everything else appears to be working -- but I have legit CS/CSS/HL/HL2/etc so I can't test those. |

What is the deal with this version, ppl keep mentioning greenluma.exe but it is not in the download/rar. I do not see it anywhere. And replacing the steam.exe is something i just do not want to do. Was better when all it was, was an extra few files. |

@pern....dude if you can't deal with a cracked steam.exe then don't bother. read steam006 post...."Valve removed the -clientapp parameter from Steam so I can't use it anymore." In a layman term...he can't use greenluma.exe anymore coz of one big technical reason he can't bypass anymore using the old way so deal with that or just find another crack. I just made another steam directory and put all my legit games there if I wanna use legit steam and my crack steam on a different directory, that's the way to do it now besides most people uses super huge hard drives nowadays so hdd space should be no problem. |
