Um, pacmanpacks's "patch" doesn't work.
Copied it to my Steam folder, double clicked it and now I'm getting:

FINALLY I was able to do this pack that will let you download AND play CSS, HL1 AND CS 1.6 also work 100% this time for everyone. Download this, place it into your steam folder, close steam and run it: http://rghost.net/43911147 No need to thank me, just tell me it is working will do - for now. Heh, CS 1.6 works again, but the process is a little buggy... if you get an error or two, exit Steam and try again. Here's what I did: 1. I deleted everything except the "SteamApps" folder and "HL1-CS16-CSS-Pre-Fetch.exe". 2. Double clicked the steam installer ("SteamInstall.msi") and chose "Repair". 3. Copied "HL1-CS16-CSS-Pre-Fetch.exe" in my Steam folder and double clicked it (looks like it's some sort of autoextracting archive). 4. Extracted the files from "GreenLuma-2.5.9-Steam006.rar" in my steam folder, replacing "steam.exe" and the rest of the files. 5. Started Steam and started CS 1.6. Thanks. PS: The player models have changed. Why is that? |

The download and launching of games work just fine now, it has been tested and is confirmed to be working 100%. If you mean the GreenLuma.exe and Legit-Steam.exe I posted too then it isn't a "patch" in it self, but packed as a supplement (or adon if you will) for Steam006's GreenLuma 2.5.9 that is posted at first post which you will need to download too. |

I still can't play Orcs Must Die! 2 with GL 2.5.9, I used both GL 2.5.7 and 2.5.9, it keeps saying "Shader Error". There must be a way, isn't it? |

I tested css and it didnt work, but then i tested cs 1.6 and that worked. I have now started verify integrity of game , will check if the games updated, and will start my tests on the games that i got. thanks again. Also Thanks Steam006 for the new version, I guess GL is coming down near its extinction  Plz do try ur best. I just started to buy legit steam games after i started to use GL.

Attached is my log as well, same issue.. I deleted the log so it is cleaner, launched steam, tried firing up OMD2 both ways, and shut down steam. EDIT: BTW, that is my main GreenLuma.log from the <SteamDir> folder. I don't have one in my OrcsMustDie2 folder..!

I just started to buy legit steam games after i started to use GL.In the past "verify intregrity of game" will not fix this bug. The best way to fix this (again: In the past, don't know if it still work like this) is to close steam and delete one of the CSS .gcf files (the SMALLEST one: counter-strike source binaries.gcf) and then try again and let the game update the last few percentage. But again: I am not sure (since I haven't been able to test this for my self) if it is still working exactly like this any more. |
