Downloaded CS:S and TOB mini installers, same error. I think my machine have problem with the installer itself (setup.exe), not the files in the .iso. Half-Life 2 Standalone and Episode 1 Standalone works perfectly!

hi, i have almost all your releases(hl2, ep1,ep2,portal and garrys mod)
i saw that you post cs source and the orange box.
i have 2 questions:
what games the orange box will install? because i already have hl2,ep1,ep2 and portal.
and the cs source is the orange box version? because i already have the setti release from this post viewtopic.php?f=32&t=57127 but i like so much that steam-like install. so the css is the same version of this other post?

I just tested CS:S and installed it with no errors. Also tested CS:S Multi Lang release - same. Please show your error contents.

The Orange Box comes with all those games + TF2 and you get to choose which games to install. So basically if you wanted all those games you could have waited for The Orange Box release and download it instead. CS:S uses latest GCF content so I guess yes it uses The Orange Box engine. I'm not familiar with setti. Can you tell me more about it. Mini installers are GCF free. They only include base content required to launch the game (executable, emu files minimal content footprint, etc) read the description. Though you won't be able to launch the game w/o GCF files.

i downloaded last year the setti release of css orange box and since i download it release updates for this game.
so the orange box games are more updated than the others?
because since i downloaded your releases i cannot update the games, i tried to use cftoolbox but i cannot update the games, but them are running ok for me.

Let me answer your question about Setti. Setti is basically a Masterserver for cracked games, and it only works with Valve games. So for example, if I want to play Team Fortress 2 online, I can't join regular steam servers as it won't work, only cracked servers would work. So what Setti will do, it will show a list of all cracked servers on its database of cracked servers (A LOT). To add Setti onto your release (Highly Recommended), I will give you the link to the instructions: http://css.setti.info/masterserver/mast ... tructions/
Obviously, there is no point in adding Setti onto HL2, and Portal, as those games have no online ability. But for TF2 and CSS it would be a need to play online.

I see your point. But on my released TF2, CS:S you get cracked servers list and you can join mostly any server. I didn't use setti.

Gmod has been updated to v112... Now it wont work anymore on internet to me, even if i updated it with CFToolbox... Any suggestion? :/
EDIT: It shows up as the v112 o.o
