Just add counter-strike source shared.gcf to your steamapps folder and mount CSS content in-game.

Great job, thanks for releasing Day of Defeat Source. Any news of when you might be able to release Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 with all DLC and patches? Because I have not seen a proper fully integrated release, and you are the only person that comes to mind that can do it. Thanks again,

Here is my problem with installing CS:S:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Conversion from string '0.00' to type 'Double' is not valid."

This error message appears when I type my player name and click on install. '0.00' is the percentage of installed files (in the lower right corner).

Ok sure I will wait, I was just asking thats all. When you do release L4D 1 and 2 and its DLC, are you sure you won't reconsider making an installer that includes all Valve games (HL2, EP1, EP2, Portal, TF2, CSS, DODS, L4D 1 and 2) as there are a lot of people including me that like/want all the Valve games so making a complete installer will not only be easier and faster to install all games, but will also save a lot of GB, instead of installing The Orange Box than all the other games (DODS, CSS, L4D 1 and 2) which will waste a lot of space as a lot of .gcf's are shared between the games. This will give the both of best worlds, with Steam being able to save space by reusing .gcf's in all Valve's games, and this release being a standalone so not having to use Steam (which is crap).

Does this error happen all the time or just pops-up randomly. Can you continue the installation by clicking Continue?

OK I'll think about it.

The installer installs one file then this error message appears, I click on continue, the installer installs another file and I get this error message again, and so on...
Only the number in the end of the message change: Conversion from string '0.03' to type 'Double' is not valid.
Conversion from string '0.21' to type 'Double' is not valid.
This number is the percentage of that the program is installed. I have the same problem with The Orange Box. I Googled this problem but didn't find any solution.

You're FREAKING AWESOME.
By the way, part 13 and 14 along with 18 19 and 20 in Half-Life 2: Episode Two.
