About an hour of poking around here and I figured out what's what. It would have taken less time had I approached it logically from the start but hey, whatever. Looks like it's about an hour to download which is not too bad. Could be worse.

Ubisoft will change their ownership system sooner or later like Valve changed theirs after the first cracked steam clients were made.

I still wonder why the official release date is almost a month ahead. The game is definately not a beta version - I didn't encounter any bugs and preformance is better than in Far Cry 3.
What is the reason for Ubisoft to put it on their servers this early? For reviewers?

I think they can't change because its from beginning like this and now they must completely to change Uplay to fix this.

Ubisoft is known for their holes and leaks.

performance ultra in fc3 is definitely better than in blood dragon all maxed out ultra.

I am amazed how well optimized and how small BD is, looks like Ubi is starting to actually give a damn about the PC players.

Is this because there aren't functioning assets like SSAO, shaders, etc? Or because they've actually optimized the engine.

HBAO, HDAO and SSAO are present like in FC3.

Its also not saving with the Crack. Ive reached several checkpoint, when i go back to main menu and load the game im at last checkpoint, but if you restart the game you have to start over at the beginning again.

C:\Users\###\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon are only 2 xml files, no saves.

Ok. Programdata\Orbit is the save, but why didnt it recognize it, hmm.

Edit: Ok, i know why. You have to disable read only in properties of \prgramdata\Orbit - hmm, its still ticked.

you need to complete the first level to be able to start saving the progress.. no matter how many checkpoint you reach(they are there if you die) on the first level.
the crack works just fine, its the same if you were using the ownership file
