ibe carreful to not copy past the bin folder which is in your root (main) directory... the bin folder you have to copy past from css v5 update from emporio is in the folder cstrike and only contains client.dll and server.dll... these files have to be in rootdirectory/hl2/bin and not in rootdirectory/bin

ps: i had to reinstall hl2 from the gcf files after i copy past the wrong bin folder...

well i thought it was clear enough...
what did i do... i followed the tuto of the forum !!

downloaded the GCF files
source engine
source materials
source sounds
source models

i extracted everything to a folder HL2 (exemple)

idownloaded emporio css V5 update and extracted all the files in a different folder called CSS (or whatever)

copied Bin folder from CSS/cstrike/ folder
pasted CSS/cstrike Bin folder in HL2/hl2/ folder.. and overwrited the files of HL2/hl2/Bin folder

that s it !!!!

then created the shortcut for hl2... -steam -console

i also put a fix for the AI, the Node graph problem and some other stuff... all in one !

lol, u forgot hl2 content.gcf

ok lets get this straight. someone needs 2 make a sticky post outlining how 2 fix the error when hl2 crashes without an error. i got this error and i d/ld hl2 from steam. WTF is the problem. we need 2 clarify this in a sticky post 4 evry1 2 see. this is a common problem!!!!!!!

well were using this as "error fixes" there are lots of errors need to be fixed but only problem is other peeps dont have any possible solutions..

clarence..it seems the ape fix fixes the connection to steam lost and ai bug
