I found another error. When you are in the airboat, and the vortigaunt has just attached the gun to the boat, the woman won't open the gate for you. Maybe the fix for this is just another quick save quick load thing. I had the game saved further on so I didn't bother. Another error, when I press new game it says it can't get content from steam servers. Yes I did what the thing said to fix it and it didn't work. But I was able to load the game from later instead of starting a new game. So if you can't get it to work, type exec chapter1.cfg. |

The error: The woman won't open the gate. The fix: if it happens for anyone, quick save and quick load. I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it works. Another error: sometimes new game doesn't work. Fix: Either load a game or type "exec chapter1.cfg" in console. Or type map (the map) or exec chapter(whatever chapter).cfg in the console. |

I've posted something relevant to this in another thread, sorry if I'm cross posting, but dammit... I've tried execing the chapter config, restarting the chapter. But at the beginning of chapter 5 that daffy bitch mossman just dies midway though her speech as the elevator doors open. Nothing's worked. Anyone got a save after they're at the bottom of the elevator? |

you're supposed to walk into the elevator and save it. Then quick load it and it should work. What I did was save it just as the elevator got to the top. Then quick loaded and that worked. |

Hello ! I'm french ...lol my english's very bad !! sorry ! lol I have the same problemes as many people : connection to steam... I tested many "fixes" but Its don't work ! I tried with the All in one crack find in Emporio's forum and it work for a moment but when i'm in the street, in the water, Hl² crash and return to desktop with the steam message ... I need help ... >>> Very Very good forum !!

It´s the same way for me, tried all the solutions but none of them works, still gets the connection to steam servers lost or - OnGameRulesCreationStringChanged: missing gamerules class "CHalfLife2" on the client. Has someone got the answer to this? |

I am having a problem when you first get to the secret lab after the big airboat mission thing when the lady opens the evelvator she freezes there just like alyx did i am downloading P_1's patch but if that doesnt work any help? |
