lol, for cz u need to extract czero and counter strike gcf. then take files out of czero folder from extraction and overwrite the files in the extracted cstrike folder...then delete empty czero folder and rename cstrike folder to czero

hey. I extracted all GCF's in one folder. half-life 2 content.gcf - source engine.gcf - source materials.gcf - source models.gcf - source sounds.gcf then i copyed CSS cstrike/bin folder to hl2/bin and when i want to run hl2.exe it says unable to load filesystem_stdio.dll any help plz? tnx

I have the 5 cd's retail version. It installs steam and half life 2 (in gcf files). Extracting these files some of them arent extracting, it shows red lines, telling that it couldnt extract cause there is no info on the files. Is my gcf's file damaged ? How if they are coming from a retail cd's, and not from download. Did someone have this problem. Don't know if it affects the game itself because I haven't the css/bin folder yet. |

just so everyone is clear. You need to copy root/bin from css emp v5 update to root/bin in your hl2 installation. |
