it doesnt freeze though, an error message just comes up and dats it.....it closes CSS |

i just finished downloading today or probably yesterday. but i also to exploit again. and validate css but it didnt download again. so i jus checked on properties and it was on 100%. den i used your automated installer everything works. i connect to server i download the extra stuff that i need, den wen at the end, it jus pops up that error thing.. thanks btw, awesome joB!!! |

btw, i noticed dat in my installtion folder ders a new SteamApps folder dat contains codename gordon.gcf i tried to extract the files in it. but it says File contains no physical data to write. so im jus curious...cuz wen its initializing the sources it freezes and sends me the error: instructions in 0x240as23 (sumtin like dat) cannot be "read" ...did anyone get dis to work? |

codename gordon is free....play it from steam, or u can install it from steam, let it update , then just play it from the folder it created |

Ive read this entire thread and wouldnt reply unless i was completely stumped.I'll tell you exactly what ive done.I used ppatcher to download all games possible and let them reach 100%.Then i used your automatic installer to install condition zero.it installed to my c:\cz i made sure the shortcut and the installpath in steamapp.cfg are correct . the shortcut on my desktop that was already in the folder reads as C:\CZ\hl.exe -steam -game czero and installpath in steamapps.cfg reads as SteamInstallPath=C:\cz it opens up a menu that has the counterstrike models but when i load a new game it starts up the first half life!!!!! im in the shuttle being brought around the black mesa!!! what the hell step did i miss!! i thought i was going to be play condition zero .it starts the steamengine then cz wants to connect to the internet then hl.exe wants to connect. i dont understand how this happened! please help i followed every step to the T!!!!! |

i downloaded it from the link at the very beginning of the thread I wasnt aware there was a newer version of hellboss' installer "edit" Ive found the other thread and ive unpacking as we speak. i tried the gcf extraction with gfcscape but i kept running into crack and patch problems to get them working.thanx for making me aware there were updates! |

oic thanks, but how come i get this runtime error everytime it initializes resources and or while recieveing server info? i used his installer which by the way only works if the files i dowloaded are complete and updated. i also get this error while editing options video - advanced. |

I get a runtime error on my bros comp also while trying to play CSS.It happens right at the loading resources part.Do u have intel extreme graphics?Cause I think thats the problem.If any1 has a fix for it pls let me know. |

o... i might add that direct x might be one too. but i hav intel extreme graphics..... also wen you wen you open launcher do u hav to change some setting on those drop downs?? |

update 1 for testers ... fully working cz http://s10.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2T52 ... 7USA6KE94Z you need to delete your old cz folder... install the update1 to you gcf folder and install cz again edit uploading full pack later |

I can start up half-life 2, but after the into movie of the guy and when it goes onto the loading screen with the blurred background I get the message: Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point _RIB_provider_library_handle@0 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll Can anyone help me out please?
