Few more questions:

Half-Life 2 works!! Now I downloaded CSS.. Done allready, but now what?

Should I install it IN the HL2 folder or in a new folder?

And in the GCF extract forum it says that I have to extract them in this order:

- counter-strike source shared content.gcf
- counter-strike source base content.gcf
- base source shared.gcf

But I only got the first file (and this one: counter-strike source client)!!

3rd question: How to download Half-Life 1 Source?

Help plz? And plz answer all questions, not just 1 :D

I got all those HL2 .gfc 's and GFCScape and .NET from microsoft but wen i try to extract them it says, file is not there or something like that........PLZ HELP ME :cry: :x

Whats with that? :S I can't find a download link there... Thats what I need to play CSS online... (or even just play it!)

I think most of your explainations are ok, but how to apply the crack are not, I have to ask for every crack :S Please make them better with download links etc.!

Doesn't work... I apply the SteamApp.cfg, the steam.dll and the Steamengine.exe but it doesn't work... I made a shortcut from hl.exe to my desktop and added -steam -game czero

but still doesn't work :S help plz?

actually, i wasnt talking to u with that comment, but for your error:

sounds like u need to put steamengine in main hl2 folder and add shortcut target : -steam

ie: "c:\program files\hl2\hl2.exe" -steam -console
