An update has been released. All your headaches have been solved. :D
Check the first post.

Changelog [23.02.]
[*] Included steamclient emulator
[*] Your source dedicated server will now appear in master server even if original steam.dll is not set

[*] You can use it with all games now, it's been rewritten from scratch
[*] That crash issue at the end of round, one the users was having, is now hopefully fixed.

Great! Another version ;), keep up the work!

I have four questions:
1. Why didn't you change the player name towards the config.cfg?
2. Does the serverbrowser now work? (in 2007 engine, like tf2)
3. When I set steamclient=true does it enable the stats or do I have to point to the steam.dll? Or just in general: What is the original steam.dll good for? ^^
4. Will the emu list internet server like the previous did?

1. I forgot about that, I'll see what I can do
2. Serverbrowser doesn't work yet but now I will try to make it work
3. Original steam.dll is for server hosters only. You don't need it if you're not hosting a server.
4. Of course.

I use revemu with addon... But disable steamclient.dll
The problem is when i'm playing in my DServer, after a while i get a msg "Kicked: Steam connection lost"

That's why you should enable steamclient :)

Ok I have uploaded both fixed versions (now you won't have that "steam connection lost" / "no steam logon" even if you choose not to use steamclient).

(Btw, why hasn't this thread be stickied yet? :shock:)

I have a (maybe noobish) question. We all know that the "Favorites" tab doesn't work yet. Trying to add a server crashes the client.

However, when this is set in rev.ini:

SteamDll=OriginalSteam.dll
SteamClient=True

Shouldn't the favorites tab get handled by the original Steam DLL? Adding the above in rev.ini results in the client not crashing anymore, which is good of course. The only problem remaining then is that the servers you add to the favorites are not really added (list remains blank). Can the Revo emulator be modified to use "SteamDll=OriginalSteam.dll" in such a way that we have a fully working favorites tab without actually needing to implement that functionality in the emulator itself?

i need add new feature plsss:

AllowOnlyEmulatorForNonSteamPlayers=True


becouse if i ban unique id, somebody can use another emu for getting new id :(

Is there any way to integrate the steamemu addon with an offline launcher? I've done the same as the installation steps but this time in the launcher's folder (UCL is the launcher). I've tried many combinations but the only successful was the same as in the install steps. That means that you'll have to copy those dlls in the folder of every game.

...or just disable ip2id feature..
