report on 9.80 RC2 under CS1.6

after few clicks ( >= 10 click / rapid click ) on Refresh button on Favourites tab, server list is disappear...

you don't need 10 click's , just on on the internet tab and after that on the favorite and they are gone until you quit cs1.6 and enter again :-|

einhovant, same happened for me while beta testing it. That's why it was released, so that others can report if they have the same problem. And when reporting, can you write what OS you are using? Just to be sure...

I faced same problems that einhovant and TiTex reported.
OS: WinXP Pro SP2
Command line: hl.exe -steam -game cstrike
rev.ini: unmodified, from 9.80RC2 package

It could be an NT 5.1 problem. Anyone else can test it under 2003, Vista or Windows 7?

Hi,
First of all, thank you for the release and keep the good works ^^
I'm using "Counter-Strike 1.6 V42 NoSteam ZCP" release with RevEmu 9.80RC2 but I'm having problem with the server browser.
Sometimes I must click multiples times to get the browser refreshing list but the worst is that I don't see this server list !
Image

And the other problem, is with the favorite tab (again ^^"), when i double click on a server in my favorite to play, it say that server don't respond. But the server is running and when I'm connecting to it via the console it works (with "connect someserver.com").
Image

So if someone have an idea about this, I'll really appreciate this ^^

Edit : Sorry, I didn't read above : I'm running on WinXP pro 64bits

I recently decided to use this for a CSS Dedicated server and the initial guide on the front page was not correct on how to crack my server (using HLDSUpdateTool).
Waffel1's post on how to properly crack CSS was helpful though.

Why would anyone run the client with "-nomaster"? :D

i do!
cuz in in gamecenters which are dont have internet connetion running with without "-nomaster" command cause the listenserver to hang for about 5 seconds.

ADDITION:
from my early topic:
- The LAN tab in serverbrowser will NOT show any kind of server that uses "-nomaster" command. (e.g. dedicated server with "-nomaster" command or a listenserver in a client which ran with "-nomaster" command)

i just want u to try it dude :)

With RC2 I have bonk and the sandman back (and with the new inventory... all the hats!!!)

Still getting the steam disconnect after the first map, although I guess you haven't looked at it yet.

Thanks!
