Tip: If you want the server and the game on the same PC, use a virtual machine for the server. It saves you the trouble. |

I don't use two copies of the game. I use hldsupdatetool-downloaded srcds-server with rev-emu and on my other HDD there is my game with stryder crack. I think Virtual PC only unnecessarily eats resources. |

Hey Guys!!! i have bought a server from gameservers.com and its only for steam clients so i want to crack it for non steam too!! beacause 9 members from my clan who have paid for this cannot join!! So please!! help me.. i want to patch it for non steam too.. THE GIFT = Guest Admin |

I got a problem and posted on the main english forum but no response. Previously have a working UCL 4.1 Alpha + Revemu 9.81 R4 install working with all source and gldsource games with steam gcf/ncf games. I recently updated the steamclient + game patches via steamup. Now source games still works online + lan. gldsource games ONLY work online, and single player or lan locks up during the "establishing connection to network server" message. I would see 1 bar and it hang forever. My goldsource games are setup with revemu.ini + rev steamclient.dll copied into each folder where the exe is. There is no steam.dll as UCL will point back to the original steam.dll revemu.ini has client.dll commented out, and steamclient.dll pointing to original steamclient.dll. changing this to rev R4 steamclient.dll does not work either. But, if I copy rev's steam.dll into the gldsource folder and try to run the game, it thinks its a standalone and will not load off the gcf. I think R4 is broken with the newest steam.dll. Any fix to play gldsource games in lan/singleplayer mode again without having to extract the games into standalones? Or will a patch need to come out again? |

Razorblade This is an old bug since revEmu 9.79 It's reported at the bug tracker: http://bt.rev-crew.info/index.php?do=details&task_id=3 Don't worry,revCrew is working on it  They're rewriting the entire emulator. |
