Roger, I'll try to launch from a save and see if this helps or not. -- Edit -- Dammit!! HL2EP2 still crashes on certain area and i still get that "memory" error. I'm gettin' frustrated here, nothing seems to work... -- Edit -- I tested this issue using SteamEmu and it seems to work just fine, no errors. However the Achievements are not possible using this emulator... Or maybe is but I don't know how to enable them on this emu. Someone please light me up on this

Achievements not works. Statistics will work if the folder with the game near rev.ini create a file stats.bin

Finally I found a solution for this problem. I just replaced the latest RevEmu's Steam.dll with the older one and now every game works just flawlessly. Even the Achievements do work on Portal and HL2EP2!!!

Does the latest Revemu support the serverbrowser? I tried to make a no steam CS 1.6 but when I launch it, it doesn't find any server. When I extracted the game with misteamprep, there was no masterserver.vdf files. I took the setti's ont and put it as "read only" in the C:\XXX\Counter-Strike\platform\config With the extracted CS:S game serverbrowser works fine.

The latest version is 9.82. Now win32 CSS servers can use Steam IDs properly again. Simple howto: - Use hldsupdatetool with -verify_all to update your dedicated server files - Rename bin/steam.dll to bin/steam_original.dll (or copy steam.dll from steam client and rename it to bin/steam_original.dll, whichever is easier for you) - Extract rev.ini and steam.dll from revEmu package to where srcds.exe is - Open rev.ini, and set the following values: - SteamDLL=bin\steam_original.dll
and, don't forget - That's it, start the server and enjoy

RazTK I'm not exactly back on development, I don't have much time to do these things, although I would love to.

I meet some problem whe playing counter-strike 1.6,once i create a game, disconnect (after playing a whie),and then create a new game,i will get a crash or freeze.no matter the standalone is gcf-based or extracted. With steam, there is no such problem. I have tried the 9.8.2 version, still the same.Any suggestion? ps:RevEmu is great, keep up the good work.

Hi people!
well, i have a L4D Server and it works perfect in 1.0.1.7 with revemu 9.81 R4. The problem is that when i update it to 1.0.1.8, the server gets very unstable and crashes constantly and randomly. I seen that there is a new SteamClient (2009), and that revemu 9.8.2 is out, but i cant make it work with my server.
Anybody has any idea?
Thx in advance!
