Hi! I can't get The Ship dedicated server to work. I've tried revemu and it crashes a few seconds after starting to load the map. If I don't use the '-console' option, it crashes when I connect to it. How can I make this work? |

Is this compatible with Garry's Mod? Because I can't get it to work... I'm using this for cracking the Dedicated Server, but whenever I try to join in my server I just get this message: Quote: This steam account does not own this game. Please login to the correct Steam account Any help, please? |

RevEmuWin32 9.8.2 makes hlds.exe crash on start even if the server is working. Everything is working fine with RevEmuWin32 9.8.1-R4. French tutorial will come soon. |

Hi! I got problem with Team Fortress 2 - it saying "The server requires that you be running Steam" when trying to connect no-steam and running RevEmu 9.8.1 R4 or 9.8.2. P.S.: game is up to date! EDIT1: I also can't gets Garry's mod work! It's stucks on "Setting convar default" (or sth.) and exits with fatal error! (again try both 9.81R4 and 9.82) |

Sorry for my bad English but... Why new 9.82 Emu version has lower priority for local files, than files from gcf-archives? That's badly inconvenient because making patches and modifications automatically becomes impossible!!!! Please, make ability change files priority in *.ini-file, or this emu will be ussles for source sdk... |

Psycho-A yes, really, it's stupid... for solving the problem use Steam.dll from rev-9.81 R4 |

Psycho-A & p4eL This is RevEmu. What does an emulator do? It should exactly do the same as the original one. The thing you are calling a feature was a bug. And why should revemu be useless for SourceSDK? Steam works exactly the same way. |

sar3th Really? Now I'm confused. I can't test it atm. With random you really mean any file? afaik config files can be modified, binaries f.e. can't be modified. afaik files are marked as Overwritelocalcopy = true or false in gcf. Steam should read this information and do what it tells. |

Not hugely important, but at a LAN i quickly whipped up a cracked client of CSS (non beta, latest version) for the people who didnt have a proper copy. I originally used steamclient 2009, however this caused HL2.exe to crash on starting a listen server. Then i tried 9.81 R4 which worked, however every single steamid (cracked and legit) was STEAM_ID_PENDING. This happened with and without valve steamclient in the rev.ini file. Layout from memory was like this HL2.exe rev.ini containing relevant pathnames from below bin > steam.dll (rev) bin > steamclient.dll (rev) steam > steamclient.dll (valve) steam > steam.dll (valve) steam > tier0_s.dll (valve) steam > vstdlib_s.dll (valve) |

with Rev-9.8.1 Steam.dll on GCF Standalone - it uses modified version. with Rev-9.8.2 Steam.dll on GCF Standalone - it uses original version from GCF. So your supposition is mistake I think. This problem is really stupid and very important. |

p4eL Just checked it, you are right. But seriously wtf is Valve doing? They mark some files as OverwritelocalCopy false, some as true. But it doesn't make any difference You can currently modify almost any file you want and that's definitely not good. |

Why do you think there is an OverwritelocalCopy parameter? I think it's the bug of rev-9.8.2 steam.dll |
