Just updated my CSS non-steam release to the latest version (2007 2 engine) and if I try to connect to a cracked server I get the error "Invalid Steam key size."

What should I do to solve this problem?

When is the next rev-Emu version releasing.with working
LAN Tab? At the moment you can't see revEmu servers in LAN tab, but this will be fixed soon when MasterServerUpdater class is written.

LAN tab work ok. But would be good to use Steam masterservers cause many non steam hosts resides there :wink:

Hello,
since steamemu doesn't work anymore with latest HL2 EP1 + EP2 I decided to use RevEmu (v9.83). But it seems that RevEmu doesn't load all necessary language files for (in my case) EP2:

episode one %language%.gcf isn't loading and half-life 2_%language%.gcf too
(So this results in mixed audio output)

I found similar thread at http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=49989 but this was from 2008.

I would like to know if this has been fixed yet or if I 'm doing anything wrong?!
Btw I play through GCF

lan tabs dont work like it should, at least with version 4248

if u set the SteamDll and ClientDll in rev in 4231 then works, but doesnt work in 4248

yep same here Revemu still working whit the old version but no whit the new version, any ideas how to crack new version of counter strike source dedicated server??

Get HldsUpdateTool.exe and do:
  1. HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir c:\CSServer


The server crack works, just read the instructions carefully. The problem is Setti doesn't detect it. Go complain on Setti forum, maybe they'll fix this!

EDIT: OK put RevEmu files like this:

CSServer\orangebox\bin\steamclient.dll
CSServer\orangebox\steam.dll
CSServer\orangebox\rev.ini <---edit this
CSServer\orangebox\steam_appid.txt - put inside the appid from cstrike\gameinfo.txt --> 240 (HL2 is 220 etc)

-make shortcut for srcds.exe; in properties put after srcds.exe" -game cstrike -appid 240 -console -maxplayers 18 +map de_dust
