Sounds great ;). I don't think that there's some "much" to be done to make UCL great! The magnetize thing, fixing the window size and being able to disable the update check these are my favorite features i would like to see ;).

But UCL is the one and only launcher atm that looks good and is still alive and can be formed just like the users want to have it!

Already done ;)
Basically I need time to test it more thoroughly before releasing.

EDIT: released UCL v1.1 RC1, please test it and report if any bugs occur. You can let your previous 1.1b release to auto update or download the RC1 from the first post.

What's new?

* Sticky edges
* Many bug fixes
* A script to delete junction point (in case UCL failed to remove it or was inappropriately closed)

There's still the bug with the wrong window size...

And maby some people would like to have the option to disable the "sticky" / magnetized edges.

read more before asking questions.

VAC servers can detect a cracked steam and will boot you.

Japa_Mala
you should read more
he says he plays offline, means he tries to create a listen server
looks like it isn't cracked, that's why his own listen server kicks him

Tested the new RC1, works very good for me, just have one problem:
When UCL is closed and I start a game using cmd (f.e. UCL.exe -appid 240) it creates the junction point but doesn't remove it after I quit the game.
For cmd that's not that big Problem, I just let the dir remove after the app was closed, but when you want to use the shortcuts you always have to manually remove it after playing.

Rest is working fine :THUMBS UP:

These junction points seem to be giving some people grief. :?

@g3cka, have you considered exploring Access Control Lists to surpress the recursive deletes on junction point files? I never looked into this, not sure if it will work, but it may be worth a bit of time researching.

Is there anyway that you can launch the game by double-clicking the game in the menu instead of right-click launch game command. I always get the web service not available business.

That is how it's meant to be really. I can of course make UCL wait for the end of the process and then delete the junction point, but it creates more problems then.

CR@CK-iT, I will look once again into the problem you wrote. I fixed one size bug though, thought it was what you mentioned.

Poseidon_, it may be SteamEmu's default behavior. I'll check it out when I get home this weekend.

StarWolfX0, disable the web info for now, if it is unavailable for you. I will surely spend more time to make this more comfortable, I tried once but ran out of patience and time.

Mitsu, I don't have an idea what you are talking bout yet, but I'll google when I have time. ;)

Thanks to all, we now have some things to fix for RC2, so expect it to come soon.

g3cka you are awesome!

And I am not in a rush, but is there a fix for BioShock coming as it crashes. No biggy as I own the game, but was just curious. I know SecureROM sucks and all of them suck.

Is there a way to disable the Web service? I really do not need the web business, I only use UCL when going to a LAN or if Steam fubs over.

@ g3cka i'm making all skins vor v1.1, but this line in the skins file
<UCLInputControlBackColor>Blue</UCLInputControlBackColor> i noothing changes when i use other colors, maybe it's not working.
Perhaps you can have a look @ it.

Would it be possible to use some skins that are on Sasio's SteamBuster. Those are really cool.

StarWolfX0, you can disable the web service using the button on the top right. Once the web service window is closed, it should be disabled.

Bioshock requires the cracked DLL files, did you put them in your bioshock directory? It may be that SteamEmu doesn't support it though.

commandos769, I included the field, but don't use it anywhere in code. I'm afraid it's not possible to change the color of input fields as you have requested. The thing is, that some colors of the fields (like border) cannot be changed from .NET framework, and I don't want to write custom drawing functions, because it's slower and wasn't planned for UCL (when Mitsukarina started UCL, he said there will be only standard controls used :P). I will experiment with this though, that's why I left the field there, simply leave it out for now. ;)

And about SteamBuster skins, no. UCL doesn't and won't have a skinning system (as long as I'm working on it). UGL had this back in the days and the result wasn't too good.
