The Microsoft Error Report "CF Toolbox has encountered a problem and need to be closed bla bla bla

I have solved that problem by upgrading CF Toolbox but now i encountered another problem.

I have download the SHOGUN 2 Total War NCG Files but when i try to star the game it just tells the steam servers are too busy and also i cant update the ncf files it tells the update has failed

If someone can provide me SHOGUN 2 update file i would be very grateful

I get an invalid password authentication error every time I try to set an account, am I doing something wrong? I have reinstalled cf toolbox yesterday again (had it installed before I wiped my OS) and now I get "invalid password" error.

hi im getting a error when i try to install some gcf... the problem is when i choose install in CFT everything is in blank :S and im logged with my account and password.

nvm problem solved the disable install checkbox in the preference tab whas enabled

Hi again, I made a new account in steam thinking that my old one had problems. Tried using the new one in cf toolbox but I get the same error message "invalid password" when trying to set the account and authenticate it. May I get some help please?

it worked before and it doesn't anymore after reinstalling your OS ?
maybe a firewall issue ?

Reinstalled cf toolbox, checked the firewall, it was allowed inbound and outbound connection. I disabled the firewall too just to heck if it was the problem, but still the same thing. Will try with one more steam account, but don't know if it's gong to work. I'm a bit stuck.

did u tried it with an empty steamapp folder ?

Moved all the files from the steamapps folder to somewhere else, tried again with two accounts that are valid in steam, but get the same error.

Is there supposed to be a different config server and port? I have gds1.steampowered.com port 27030.

hum, no, this one is ok, it should works... (surely not for long as steam doesn't use this authentication method anymore)
did du tried with a blank account ? are these account "protected" (steam guard / verified email)

can u record a tcp dump with wireshark ?maybe it will show smth ...

After change account password, CFToolbox cannot login this account.

Tried with a blank account yes. I believe both accounts, the blank one and the one I've always had, have been verified by email (are we talking about email activation of the accounts?) as for steam guard, I'm sure the old one has it (though only for counter strike 1.6). Never used wireshark, but will try, to see what happens.
