Hey Steamcooker awesome app, really nice love using it thankyou, i have a problem however i try to login to my steam acc and it always says connection interupted i am connected to the net and i can access all other things through the net, i made an exception in my firewall for cftoolbox but still the same problem, any suggestions would be welcomed, thanks man.

as we are on page 111 .... you can now download CF Toolbox 1.1.1 from the first page ! with SteamGuard support

The steamguard keygen must be ran from the Steam folder where u logged on in Steam with your protected account account first, do not enter an email code in the steamguard field, enter the generated key.

Hey steamCooker,
So I placed the key generator in my Steam folder "D:\Valvesoftware\Steam" and logged on my Steam account throught Steam and executed the generator, pasted the code (ends with '='),it keeps saying the authentification error so tried also many times with the Steam Guard code from the message received inbox until I get never the message for the code!!
I tried to delete the last character from the code '=' but CF Toolbox crashes.
Any help please ??

the = is required, but didn't expected it would crash
my tests were working nice here.
are u able to login with a blank account ?
if yes, are u able to login if you disable steamguard ?

Hey steamCooker, thanks for this awesome app. Whenever I try to update my Dead Island .ncf's the program hangs...



Other people have been able to do it without any problems, what am I doing wrong?

try to "correct" the ncf first, maybe it's somehow corrupted.

I took like one second to do and said "File has been corrected." When I validated them it said they were invalid.

Because you have a preloaded version? That's encrypted (til friday).

Authorization error with downloading - Ok...well i wanted to get black ops for my computer, i already have it on disk (cracked) but what greater way to have it on steam and play online. Only problem is i cant seem to get it to install/download. I have the NCF's updated, but when i go to right click on Black ops content.ncf to download it, it says authenticating than error even when i try to set my account. I know my account for my steam so i dont know whats going on, it also does it with the english.ncf as well can anyone help? Also none of them are being validated even after correcting them....this shits way to hard for a noob like myself to get running .

You need to own it to be able to download it.

it seems you can't download it if you don't own it.
filling the steamguard field is needed only if u enabled steamguard for your account (verified email)
if u enabled steamguard, copy the keygen in steam's folder and run it ot get the key to paste in that field.

So what do you mean keygen, like for a video game? i mean i do have a verified email and i get a code like Y3GH3 or something rather. So since i dont own the game i have to get a preload copy of black ops and do what with it. And if i dont own the game than what do NCF and GCF files really do? I thought they where cache files that go through to steam saying you own the game and its allowed to be installed. I use cracked steam to do this and CF Toolbox. If you ever used cracked steam it gave you all of source games and a lot of indi apps like plants vs zombies and i didnt have to do any caching, it just gave me the caches and if that being the case why wouldn't they do that with black ops and such?
