Hi,

I need some help with game Killing Floor...
Im using revLoader v2.2 + revEmu v9.77a and Hamachi, i can host game but no one can connect...

Me friend using to revLoader v2.2 + revEmu v9.77a...

Me friend dont see me server, but he add to Favorit and now see me server... but stil cant connect.

Sorry for me bad eng.

I am playing Online, Lan, And solo with REVEMU... :

First Patch your game to the .4 Release. Download it, or Manually extract from .gcf using GCF EXPLORER

Make sure you have this ports open:
7757 UDP, 7758 UDP , 7767 UDP, 28902 TCP & UDP, 8075 TCP , 20610 TCP & UDP

Then Make Sure you have this lines on Rev.ini

[Loader]
ProcName=KillingFloor.exe
SteamClientDll=steamclient.dll

Notes: Trust me... you must have the 0.4 version to run KillingFloor without problems

I do not get this at all. I guess I am stupid. I do not know what to put in the line "ProcName=MyApp.exe". What goes there? How are you supposed to put a ProcName when you haven't even downloaded the game yet? And do I create a steam_appid.txt. What is that?

First you download the game, then you use the loader to launch it.

Anyone try DOW2 1.31 update. The loader seems not to work anymore.

New files required:

vstdlib_s.dll
tier0_s.dll

then

error P:0000065434

Check PB for "Cumulative Patch"

Throw the revemu files in the game folder (steam.dll and steamclient.dll) and overwrite the existing.

Note, before the new game 1.3.1 update the loader worked.

What happens in Vista x64:

Try direct commandline too! When back to game v1.21 and it's good.

The EMU doesn't work with the NEW. Either the APPid or the protection is changed.

I tried to run killing floor, but I keep getting that side by side error. I installed the c++ 2005 redistrib, but I still get the error.

(What I did was download KF through steam with my account, then throw the rev files in steam/steamapps/common/killingfloor/system)

EDIT: nevermind, I needed the c++ 2008 distrib, not 2005.

Now the only problem is that I get "An unknown steam error prevented you from connecting to this server" when trying to join my lan dedi. My dedi says the steam auth failed.

No, I believe it's just that the new version crashes for you. Trigazillions of other ppl use revloader with latest DoW2 (I've deleted it, but at least another user would complain)

Only "Application error blahblah" is related to the actual protection. Wait for version 1.3.2
