Thanks, emiderg, that did the trick! Now UCL even remembers my content list correctly.

Hi, i've got a problem with the latest UCL Version (4.1b).
I'm trying to run Source SDK. All needed GCF's are there.
Running it on legit Steam Account works.
With UCL i get the error "Can't find steam app user info".

I already tried this: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... _user_info
But still doesen't work. What could be wrong? Is it a bug?

Copy that file, open it and change the account name to the one in UCL. (at "AutoLoginUser" and "User")
By default, steam account name (steam user name) in ucl is UCL.

Make sure you have the latest version. And start UCL again.

I can't launch l4d 2 with ucl2.0Alpha4.1b. The game shows valve logo and opening movies, it shows the loading screen and then it crashes without any error messages (it just goes back to the desktop). What am I doing wrong ? Please help.
ps Do I need to crack l4d 2 exe file?

Maybe it's not UCL or revemu problem at all. Update your graphic driver, check the settings on your graphic driver, open regedit and delete CS:S settings info. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\cstrike and delete that cstrike key.

Yeah you need L4D2 crack.
Use REVOLUTiON ReCEG v2 (cracks client.dll)

Alternatively, use only one of these
Stryder Loader (use the alternative loader that replaces the exe)
REVOLUTiON crack (which also replaces exe)
Steam006 crack

Hi!

I tried to launch Shattered Horizon with UCL, but get this error:
Quote:
---------------------------
Steam Error
---------------------------
Application load error 3:0000065432
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The same happens when I just open the shattered_horizon.exe file manually, and I can launch it nicely with revLoader, but then I won't find any online servers. Can you guys help? Thanks!

Read the small guide and do that. Also the same info is in the FAQ.txt. You should be able to start the game.

But still you wont see any servers. The game (and it's server program) is not cracked yet.

Thanks for the info, read that in the other thread as well.. but the game has been released more than 3 months ago!! I guess there will never be any crack?

Small feature request:
It'd make my life a bit easier if there was an "Open extracted folder" item in the context menu for each game. It'd open the shell explorer to the location of the "minimum extracted files."

Basically it'd make accessing config files and saved games quicker.

I hope it's not already in there somewhere and I'm missing it.

UCL overwrites the masterserver.vdf even if it's read-only. To stop that you must uncheck "Steam Client" in Options-Steam-RevEmu.

Please include that info in the first post.
