Hey steamCooker.

I just got an error, and I can't seem to solve it...

I updated the appinfos and the CDR, I optimized it, clean the junk, defraged, and finally validated it and corrected it.

Here's the error:



All of my .manifests are outdated (except for one) including the .acf file so I chose to update it by downloading, but for some reason it just failed like so. Do you got any solutions?

hey steamcooker, i also have an error, it's doin something i've done before no worries with TINcft but now it just won't work. i'm trying to update a game (PAYDAY: The Heist) and everytime i try to update i get update failed. the log says...

any ideas whats going wrong? i tried validating and it said "Valid"

aeventric, it looks like you don't own that depot.
bongsmoke1989, there's a bug, go to the config page and open the log console, then it will work.

Appid 233 is the "Half-Life 2 Demo base" content and it should be free. you can download it with a blank account through steam.

i noticed that even if free, steam now request a free license for medias (trailers) so it is possibly the same for demos, it may be why u can't download it ...
tincft doesn't support that yet.

Do we gonna have a TINcft with a good gui just like cftoolbox
hope steamCooker will improve the gui of TINcft so we can upgrade our CFtoolbox to TINcft someday

yes i still plan to release a tool with a real GUI... someday ...

How to create update file?
create update button is useless

i wouldn't say it is useless ...
u need to provide a .version file (just like with CFT) then choose what depot to include in the update, then it will produce a .update

is there a step by step tutorial somewhere for noobs like me? I just do not get it working. Last time i played cracked steam games CFToolbox was the tool to use.

weird with the new release i get this error , mind you all ive changed in the config is the directorys to the according folders and ive entered my username , password and steamguard key that ive generated per your key generator

btw why not just make a acf plugin for cftoolbox then wed have a nice functional GUI to go with this new format , thats unless your planning on making an entirely new modernised GUI
