There's still the same problem with your prefered BuildID in the new version 2013-08-13:
ImageImage
TINcft shows this game in the list as up-to-date (because the BuildID didn't change). So I didn't realize the new update, until sam2k8 posted an new update in the main forum.

EDIT: I went back to previous version 2013-06-24c, and saw 4 games MORE are outdated. But these also shown as up-to-date in your newest version. Only because of the FUCKING BUILDID!! Please, REMOVE this BULLSHIT in your next version!
This BuildID is absolutely NO indicator for an outdate (I had already told)!!!

Did you find a way to get game's name from app info instead of cdr, more games are shown as valvetestapp with every new game release.

What is this TINcft.licenses file?
And program crashes when i try to run it with no appinfo.vdf file in the path i choose. I need to download it with TINcftCommand and then it starts.

the tincft.license file is just a file with the list of the apps that the your account owns, so i can put in red in the installer the depots that u wont be able to download.
i'll check that vdf missing file crash.
thx for report !

Post subject:  Re: TINcft 20130813 - win32 / linux

Thanks for the info. Actually it crashes when i don't have .cdr file and .vdf . It starts with console and connects to my account and when it tries to download the appinfo crashes. I remember that the program downloaded cdr first and then it was starting so i can download appinfo. Maybe this is causing it. It needs the .cdr first.

Hi all! Many thx to steamCooker for this tool and Linux version.

I like console version and read short manual:
Spoiler
first update cache with:
TINcft_command appinfo

then commands such as:
TINcft_command version -f appmanifest_440.acf -v c:\updates\440.version
TINcft_command update -f appmanifest_440.acf -v c:\updates\440.version -u c:\updates\440.update
TINcft_command apply -f appmanifest_440.acf -u c:\updates\440.update
TINcft_command download -f appmanifest_440.acf

But what if app has depot?
1-st command works fine: ./TINcft_command version -a 70 -v ./upd/70.version
but 2-nd says "Unavailable depot 1 chunk" many times:
Spoiler
./TINcft_command update -a 70 -d 1 -v ./upd/70.version -u ./upd/70.update

So, what i need to do? Run another command, or add more -d args, or get manifest files for depots? Is there detailed manual?

Post subject:  Re: TINcft 20130813 - win32 / linux

if u want to process all the depots, don't use -d
if you want to process only 1 depot , use -d depotid1
if you want to process only N depots, use -d depotid1 -d depotid2 ... -d depotidn

Use TINcft_command.exe appinfo
You need to put your acc details into TINcft_command.ini as well

Edit:
What was the command you have to add into TINcft.ini so i can get detailed log on the errors in cmd?

I think it fails to load BioShock2 .acf after the update from GFWL to Steamworks
