Get yourself the prophet release, it is the latest version of brink, it would be great if you could make it work with SSE

As i wrote back in ealyer posts:

After update 3 it wont work, becouse the makers of the game implemented a security check,
and if you are playing newer relases, it wont work, becouse the clients who connecting to you
WILL be kicked after 3-5 minutes play, saying: Unable to authenticate user. So NO, i wont do an other
relase(I was fiddleing with this about 3-4 days, we need a mp fix for the newest game)... and this is working with
Direct connect mode(Or use console) But at update 2 it is working in lan! Thats why i uploaded it!

But be my guest, here are the SSE files configured to brink, copy into the newest game, and try, i had enough from
this game protection method...

But be warned: If you are multiboxing(With sandboxie ect... it will work on ONE machine, but if you are connecting from an other folder and/or other machine, it will kick the clients!!!

If someone know a crack to use this normally, then relase it, but not gonna happen by me.

I don't remember from where I got it but I play Brink in lan through revemu with last update and dlcs using direct connect ip

I can confirm: Magicka 1.14.1 is working with original dll-s!

Not the browser, but the direct connect and the quick connect(Shift+TAB)

KyleA and xymox: Thanks to you both for your Sniper Elite 3 SSE configs. I've tested them and have experienced pros and cons with both.

KyleA's SSE pros:
[*] Supports multiplayer
[*] Working server browser
[*] Supports cooperative (using quick join with SHIFT+TAB)

KyleA's SSE cons:
[*] Does not support saving of game progress

Can you add SteamID generation by unique user information, like HDD id?

xymox: Your right. I rechecked and the error occurs in the game itself apparently, if you i.e. create a game, stop it, create a new game (in my case, a coop game).
When the client then tried to join you would get a message similar to "The game lobby is no longer available".
The best fix is to close the game on the computer that's hosting and start it again, and start with Coop, Challenges, whatever.

Hi,

SteamIdGeneration = PersonaName should be sufficient for that. Unique id like HDD will require elevated permission to dig through system just to find that HDD id.
