Thank you very much for the update syahmixp!

I've deliberately tested (again) with Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, since the last working version was 1.1.0. Unfortunately, the result is still the same as 1.1.1-1.1.2 - the client still fails to connect to the host :(

I wonder what major codes that cause this problem? You introduced the 1.1.1 due to multiple steam pipe proper opening and closing, but since that, the client was unable to connect to the host although it recognized the lobby and the host (both steamid are correct). The most noticeable between 1.1.0 log and 1.1.1-1.1.3 log that there are a lots of sending and receiving P2P packet lines in 1.1.0, while in 1.1.1-1.1.3 it's just few lines.

I'm trying to get Dota 2 working for LAN play but it doesn't seem to be working. it says "Dota 2 searching for network".
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
If somebody has it working, can you please post your .ini file for reference?

(SmartSteamEmu 1.1.3) -No stable operation lobby playing together on a LAN in Sniper Elite III. :cry: With version SmartSteamEmu 1.1.2-good. :shock:
(if you use the - "Random"-how that works(no statistics),
but with the "PersonaName" dull-as in the tank.)

Hello there!

First of all, amazing work syahmixp, this emulator is incredible!

I used it once to play Dead Island with some friends, it worked great as far as i remember, there was no trouble with it. But now I'm little confused about how to use it.

I'd love to play with friend Orcs Must Die! 2 on coop mode, smartsteam seems to make it happen since he doesn't have the original game. The problem is that I cannot make it run. Whatever I do, it always tell me "failed to create process".

So, gotta ask: is there any step-by-step guide for morons? :)

Well, SmartSteam runs the game like i want it to, but it doesn't work for multiplayer though. Even more, there is no reaction for shift+tab, actually its same as running game normally without anything. What's wrong?

I believe you can just open the steam_api.dll with a text editor and search for the string "version".

You're actually right, all the information needed is present in ascii strings inside the steam_api.dll... Thanks you very much for the hint...! :wink:
