That won't work I don't think. I think the info gets sent to the css or whatever server you are trying to connect to, then from there it is authenticated with the valve servers. So the css server would have to be the thing that got changed and have it send to a different authentication server.
Get into the valve update servers and send out an update that updates all the servers to do this...but I doubt it would be worth it.
I could be wrong though.

nobody has cracked it, and nobody will, its an update from valve thats even affecting people with legit cs, just wait untill they fix it

if someone manages to "corrupt" the val ticket randomly that is to be sent to valve.
do you still need an account that has at least one game thats paid for?
i think we need to ride on the fact that....
the ticket can be corrupted since its sent by udp
network congestion/val server overload for timeout to occur
and also the fact that valve val servers can be down...
since all 3 can happen for legit accounts...

an idea i might accomplish
1st fucking with the blob is useless.. i think since i tried that for 2 days since valve banned my acrualy working account :@#:$@:

my idea is that...
when u start steam or steamengine whatever u cautomaticly connect to auth servers to authorize ur blob with the data
stored on remote server it then it tells u
"hmmmz the info im recieving is bad fuck you, buy the game"

after its done it checks again before going on server why?
to be sure..
so to stop it from doing that u "might"\"posibly" can blob the server:port of the auth server but the u will recieve an error tells u "ummmm fuck off" so to actually accomplish that idea is block the server after it connects to u and after this moment blobk it to achive the effect "server is buisy" so u in playing but to actualy do that u need to be fast or have a good timing senses
well to hcupa\maddoxx help me on that one if thats a shit idea tell me heh ill go eat some binutbutter or whatever
