Hey so if i bought hl2 now would i be able to play or would that registry blob fuck everything up again????????????????????????????

Before buy/register HL 2 original GET RID of all pirate Steam. You rather format your PC before do so, and NEVER register it under an account you'd already use with pirate stuff.

You can wipe it manually if you can't reformat:

1. Uninstall all Steam instalations (Just backup the GCF files before, so you don't need to download it again)

2. Delete all and any ClientRegistry.blob

3. Open Regedit and delete all bellow HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve

4. Reinstall Steam, create a new account, and register your legit copy.

Ouch!!! Be VERY CAREFULL while working with it, if you delete a wrong key you're done and will be forced to Reformat.

Just open it, expand the folders:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER
|-Software
|- Valve

and press delete

DON'T DELETE ANYTHING ELSE, JUST VALVE.

To open it:

Start -> Run and type Regedit

one question

i created one account one year ago
and i dont remember if i used some exploit in it

but i know the account spent one year without any and its still working

if i buy thegame, can i register the key on this account? (deleting all my registry and hack files)
or it can be banned

I have 3 legit accounts, I wish to re-install them back onto my PCs but will have 1 running a working hacked SiX-Steam client account.
Question - Will my IP affect me in any way as all 4 PCs have same IP address? I know what and how to delete all files including registry files but was concerned about IP addresses.

No it will not affect you, they will not IP ban because that could affect many legitimate accounts.
Edit: Of course, as has been mentioned create a new account first with the proper Steam to purchase.
