Post subject: Ticket Error: How we can join ? ... answer here Posted: Tuesday, 25 Jan 2005, 05:16 |

When the server changes the map, it will be busy for that.
At that moment, Client with ppatcher can join (Server will not check the ticket cause it will be so busy)
That why some people still play.
So, to conclude: if you (use ppatcher) want to play in steam server, try connect (and re-type password) as many time as possible, on 1 steam server, and wait for the map-changing time happens ...
An other good thing can be tested: use one program to monitor the steam servers to see if it will change the map in few minute, then ppatcher-clients try to connect to it, the magic will happen
As Wair and Chopz wrote, you can try this program to monitor servers: http://fxsoftware.jexiste.fr/web/awpunk ... nk-release http://fileforum.betanews.com/sendfile/ ... nstall.exe
have fun.

I don't know 100%, but: If you join a server, it checks your ID. When you're on the server and the map is changing it doesn't check your ID anymore it's only loading the game resources.

hic, we dont know it depends on your chance
or someone can write a small program to browse servers, and we may can know which server will change its map ...
