I have been using ppatcher... and finally decided it's worth it to risk my valid HL1 acct... so I ppatched it, but I noticed that everytime I run ppatcher, it'll change my internet settings to 14.4kbps modem... even after I manually set it to DSL>768kbps, it might just switch back to 14.4kbps in the middle of a game...
It gets annoying cuz the security modules in CS 1.6 take like 30 seconds to dl...
Does anyone know what to do or have a ppatcher.ppc that does not cause this problem?
