Post subject: Condition Zero Freezes Posted: Tuesday, 25 Jan 2005, 14:42 |

I used six steam and i dont get the invalid ticket error but when i go to play i does all the verifying files and crap and at the bery end when it precaches reforces mine just freezes there anyone else have this problem and maybe have a fix for it?

its because of the registry , try steam-down it as this error fixed
|

- try to defrag harddisk
- disable programs in taskbar when you run cz
- try to increase virtual memory (you have a good ram right?)
- use -heapsize 128000

I never realy understood what -heapsize does??

128MB RAM: -heapsize 64000
256MB RAM: -heapsize 128000
512MB RAM: -heapsize 256000
1GB RAM: -heapsize 512000

but what does it do?? lets say I put -heapsize 512000 in my shourtcut cuz I have 1gb of ram what good will it do??

i think it tells it how much ram to use for the game. so it gets the most efficient use of memory. hell i dunno.
