I don't know if you care, however, the server list could be highly improved. By some simple methods you could reduce bandwidth and thus improve speed, which would also download the list faster since it would be smaller in size.
This would, though, not be a huge difference since the list isn't exploded with servers right now.

Well... for example. If I got it right, it gets the list off HTTP from a file named cache.txt. One thing you could do is instead of having a 123.123.123.123 ip you make them 4 bytes each, and skip the dots fully. Like chr(123) & chr(123) & chr(123) & chr(123). Making that IP 4 bytes instead of 18.
Another thing you could do is ONLY include those 4 bytes (so it'll read 4 bytes until the end of the file) and skip all those newlines and other arguments I see in the cache.txt file. (Though, you should include ports of course). Let's say you have 500 servers. If you did like that it would be 2 KB rather than, assuming every line in cache is 32 bytes long, 16 KB.
2 KB is not that much better than 16 KB, true, but it's better.
You can ask server details directly off the servers.
Don't ask me about this, I am not completely sure how to do it.
I think you send an UDP packet to the port on the server IP containing "ÿÿÿÿdetails" or something like that.

ok this program isn't working for me !!!
coz my emporio css only works from the shortcut (-steam -console -game cstrike)and it doesn't work from the exe !!!
got any idea ???!!!

please please please
add a stop button to the server browser please, in order that i can stop it from looking for server and i can see the ones it has pinged because now it looks for all the servers and in my computer it gives me problems.
I dont think its a very hard thing to do and it would help me a lot

hey hellboss great programming again
but if u could help me or anyone else i got the program ok it loads up the server lists but when i click on a server and click connect the dos window opens up saying
starting steam engine
engine running
but then i get this error:-
cant find background image'materials/console/background01.vtf
and i m using your program hellboss steam-down so please looking for some help thxs.  waiting for replies.
