This done it for me.. was looking to run Source games from a shortcut for LAN play only. never been so easy.

Both 4.1 and 5.1 worked.

So, now I've made a nice setup for CSS with the GCFs and a crack360 binary... In the future I'll be able to setup CSS easily :lol:

I think I might right up a tutorial. It seems that the first time is hard for people but after they get how it works they can do it super fast.

What is a cgf I am tring to do what u said but I can't seem to use the garry's mod for css :(

cfg is short for configuration and GCF is short for Game Cache File. Im not sure what a "cgf" is.

I still use this version of crack360 made by bug.meh.not
its the best.
I use a cracked steam client just to update my gcfs and crack360 to play the games.
never got any errors with it and I use it since a long time a go and I think I'll always use it.

4.1 is good but 5.2 adds some new stuff and features, but its buggy. I have been working on a 5.3 update. Its not finished yet though.
