i almost seem to get it working..i created a folder w/ all the gcf's "c:\steamapps" and ran the crack for gmod9 by bug.me.not . i'm also using the new gmod version. when i click on "gmod9.exe" the "Loading.." screen comes up and then it just switches back to the desktop but i get no errors. any idea of what could be going wrong? thanks -edit- nvm i got it working. good job bug.meh.not and thnx

Hopefully he will continue working on crack360, it's the easiest and fastest way to play the games without any steam and without having to extract the hole game files..
Pls bug.meh.not... your crack360 is also good for those noobs out there who don't want to experiment with hundreds of steam clients and tools  (I'm not one of them but my friends are)

Hm I need some help.. my cfg.ini:
[cfg]
Starter=0
gcfdir=.
parameters=-console
lang=german
I can start hl2 with this settings, but a friend can't. After he updated his windows (he even did not have sp2 -.-), cs source and hl2dm etc work, but hl2 doesn't. It crashes with "half-life2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be closed" (something like that, translated).
Edit:: PROBLEM SOLVED, I'm stupid

i can extract and all, but when i set start= back to 0 and run the crack it says that it couldn't find filesystem and that the game is being ran from wrong directory.

Bug...If you dotn plan to finish v5..Can you share your code with me, Paleck and other people that are waiting for new version?....
sanghyuk, put the .exe in "SteamApps--->Your user--->counter-strike source" and let the crack extract what it needed, then delete the cfg.ii and you can play...almost for me
