I'm new here... Does this installer work with the Steam network, ie: Can I play on any server that runs on Steam?

Can I ask, what software did you use to crack open Condition-Zero?
did you use a program called GCFScape by any chance??

So how do we go about connecting to newer version servers? Will there be a new thread listing them? Hopefully some pop up soon, I was able to connect to one thru the steam server list but it was quick to shut down..

Zerotech: No... I "cracked it open" with a simpler way... I was going to set up a czero linux server... and when I did ./steam -command update -game czero I noticed that it downloaded ALL the files... including the windows files... so I rushed to my windows computer, copied it to my Half-Life (no steam) directory... and voila! it worked
Hot Mango Flush: No, this is a no-steam version. IE: you can't play on steam servers. You can play only on the NO-STEAM servers... the "cracked" ones.
H3ly: Hopefully someone will start a new topic with czero servers... I would open up my server to the public, but I don't have enough bandwith...

EDIT: An update for CS:CZ was just released. This update is NOT yet included in my release. I'll probably release a patch tomorow night:

there is a way to play CS:cz free with steam online, but u need an accounts with hl or CS cdkey entered, then u can play CS:cz free online at steam server.
