Don't want to read whole topic...
I got the same problem as 0rpheus, except that I get that error in UniLauncher, not in CueSteam.
The wierdest thing is, that it worked perfectly yesterday...now... well.  _________________ I am 35% addicted to Counterstrike. What about you?

i got the problem please sit back and relax,and later i got the error
login to steam failed.
either the specific account does not exist,or the password was wrong.
please check you account name and password try again
is unilauncher dead?
who client work NOW for donwload hl2?
I WANT HL2 PLEASE

Shmelle, where can I get the ClientRegistry Toolkit? I looked everywhere and didn't find it....

when i start unilauncherII.exe i get error: Runtimeerror "70" Permission denied
BTW i used kamelas version (23.3.06)

when i start Kamela * noir 's version that happens:
#it tells me that there is a new update by shemelle and asks if i wanna download it
#it puts in the login stuff
#it clicks the login button
#i get that error telling me that login failed... (it couldn't connect to steam network or something like that)...

for me its working perfect. 
try to run reset.bat again 
and for this error which happend to u wirh runtime .($)=§ ....
go to www.microsoft.com and search for VB runtime and download
Your error means that one or more OCX files are not installed correctly i think
and when it says there is an update click "no" then all is working
or edit Unilauncher\UniLauncher.ini ----> Version=7 ----> and save

i've got the last update of day of defeat.
When i try to join a cacked server he always say:
Your version does not match the servers.
Please restart the game.
When i done this he keep saying that.
Can anyone please help me?

when i came on good servers everythime he gave in het game day of defeat source:
server is enforcing consistency for this file:
