Check if the solutions are still working! And Yes they do! But now you have to use "base source engine 2.gcf" for source games.

So i have uploded a new d4rk.rar with updated d4rkm4nx.cfg!

To help you all out, that can´t get it to work, i have modded my EightTeam to use d4rks emu for you. So you only have to copy EighTeam.exe (from the attachment) to your Game-folder and run it.

Adde download-links for "d4rk.rar" and EightTeam(filesystem_steam.dll_fix).rar.

Don´t download d4rk´s emu from the attachment. It is not up to date. Can´t update it because of cTracker-error.

I was the entire week trying to make lost coast work
now i can play it.
only used EightTeam_filesystem_steam.dll_fix_.rar
then i created a shortcut with -steam -game lostcoast -console

EDIT3: Damn! Wrong game version so I can't connect to cracked servers!? Do I need newer gcf files?

EDIT2: Got a new base source engine 2.gcf and extracted files from it. Works finally!

EDIT1: Ok here we go! It kinda works now! Counter Strike source starts! I get it's background and a little loading in the bottom right. Then an error:

Engine Error
Platform error: module failed to initialize

I think there is an error with my bin files because I got some errors when extracting from cfg files. So I will test and get new cfg files.

Yeah i think so! But the game-version is checked from the file steam.inf (CAn be found in counter-strike source shared.gcf). Try to extract and edit it with notepad, to match the right version-info!

easier way is to use EightTeam, that automatically sets regentries, etc...
