I know maybe it's a stupid question, but I've extracted gcfs from Half-Life 2 with GFCSpace in one folder ! Then I wanted to launch it with USL ! But it says it's unable to load filesystem_steam.dll ! So do i need a crack for it ? |

Using crack 360 will also create the filesystem_steam.dll error! This error is because of some outdated or missing windows dlls that hCupas steamemus are using since Version 263!! Or you can extract the attatched files into you Half-Life 2 Folder and start HL2 with a shortcut! Example: "D:\Games\NonSteam\Half Life 2\hl2.exe" -steam -game hl2 Last thing is that you look at my Sig for a Solution!

Your sig tells me, that the normal way to fix the filesystem-error is to install service pack 2 ! I have SP2 and it doesn't work at all ! So for me it seems to be that only extracting the gcfs and try to launch the root-folder with USL2006 is not enough... I decided to use USL because I didn't want to use cracks,emus or something, now i have problem i think ^^ |

Sillium, that crack will give you errors today. I suggest you use Provision's cracked files for the Source Dedicated Server to run the games. |

Cintx, Cix Emu is not the latest. At least you didn't update it for some time now. If I remember right, I got the same errors with Cix Emu as I got with the crack Sillium posted. |
