1. What's Bittorrent?
Bittorrent is a peer 2 peer network. That means: everyone who downloads also uploads files. So files can be brought to many people in a fast and cheap way (download servers are expensive, because of that there's so much advertisment at rapidshare, megaupload, etc.)


2. What do i need for downloading files via Bittorrent?
There are many clients (programs, which use the Bittorrent Network) for downloading. My favourite program is Azureus. You find it here:

3. What is a Tracker?
A Tracker is a website, where information about Torrents are posted: Name, uploader, how many people are uploading/downloading, etc. The Tracker for our GCF Files can be found at this adress:

I looked for one in such a way bittorent tracker already for a long time
because rapidshare or other sites are slowly and they are so fucked packed and i only found on other trackers the not gcf version of the games.
But now i have a only gcf tracker with the newest version. now i can play red orchestra...... on cue steam

Yup, you're right, i mean, some time ago (about 3 years) i met a Valve coder, especificaly one of who was working in HL2, he actually told me speaking in the beach(and yes he was in a vacation in my country) that even inside Valve offices they dont like steam, because its like another section of valve corporation that actually is not part of if fully, so the point is that even Valve knows that steam sucks; it sucks too because they change the tipe of gameplaying......

As you can see except of 6 GCF Files, all GCFs have a torrent. The missing GCF Files are:
