And you have downloaded both files?
If so, unfortunately it looks like you will have to download them again :(

I'm afraid I can't, I don't have the bandwith... (3gb/month) otherwise i'd just have uploaded the finished ISO or a rar file.

I would if I could :(

See the post here incase you got something wrong when trying to download.

So redownload the two parts and wait another hour? HTTP or FTP?

Make sure to download using FTP, HTTP gives corrupt files most of the time.

I did - it says it in the instructions.

I changed it to:
Note: you must click on: "Don't want a premium download? Click here to access our free download links."
Then use FTP download option - HTTP is unstable and often gives corrupt files.
to make it clearer...

I already gave you that answer here.

And file factory is better than most providers e.g. rapidshare etc. as you don't have to wait hours between downloads. Also I didn't put up the file factory links, someone else uploaded them.

hm..
Don't you think a DVD drive is much to slow to run all game data from it? Compare it's speed with a hard drive..

I've tested it on two different PC's and it runs just fine :)

However... obviously, there is a difference in speed, e.g. loading is slower etc.

You can try to repair the files with QuickPar. Maybe it's working, but dunno.
Here are the links for them: http://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t= ... sc&start=0

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Must have c/p'd too fast, it's been corrected now. I also put the wrong path...

Now the instructions have been corrected try again from the start. It looks to me like you haven't replaced all the files. I just used another computer to test this following the instructions exactly and it worked fine :?... it shouldn't be trying to access any steam server. I just disconnected from the internet and ran it and it didn't even come up with that error.

Note to all: I think that is all of the errors in the instructions fixed.
