if ya wanna download games there are ways.. one wait until auth server is down (its a term people use around here) 2 - get your hands on a cafe account or other type of account such as borrowing from a friend.. 3 maybe mini-gcf's im not sure if they work though , ive never used one 4 - the shittiest option download teh full gcfs from gcf thread ..crappy option but thanks to all people that upload them 
5 - go buy the game / or "aquire" a key
im working and am not working on this 24 hrs a day but i will keep fixing it and posting new versions if people are interested in this project (im only posting cause i did this for myself anyway) Experienced coders can ofcourse request full source code from me if they want it (please only request if i know ya or you can prove to me have some coding skills) ..dont need 101 noobs asking me how to learn c++ (im not very good at c++ myself) Im focusing on things in order of priority.. Playing on official non crackers servers and downloading games are deaad last as a priority for me, the freezing games updates feature is one of the ones i wanna do soon as well as an option, games running is top priority. and i wanna make an option that will write out the config subscription options by reading from the blob to an .ini but i have a lot of blob work to do and im not sure if i can do my idea anyway.. Why the blob/ini idea is because having to recompile a .dll everytime valve add's new subscriptions is a pain in the ass 
that about sums it all up i think ..thanks for all the feedback i hear ya all

normal cs is not working for you ? sorry if it doesnt but i havnt had cs 1.6 installed for a long time and i dont have the gcfs right now to test it (or any hl1 based game) ill see if i can get that tested.. it should be pretty easy to make work like css does. |

I just fired up steam and it keeps telling me the following message when I try to log into steam: Quote: Platform Error: bad module 'servers/serverbrowser.dll', not loading.
And steam shuts down...can anyone tell me what to do?! I'm using CueSteam if its not obvious already lol |

I'm using CueSteam if its not obvious already lol ok i checked into it and i had the same problem. what happened is there was a Steam Platform update so that means we need to re-apply the crack again. i just did this and it was working fine with the new version of steam 
there is a couple different ways to reinstall steam but there is three things to remember that is, are you using a steam.cfg or patched steam.exe to block updating ? Because you wanna update
3rd is dont forget to copy the new official steam.dll into the bin folder.. im hoping you understood me if not hopefully someone else will help out and explain it in a more clear way. also since the weekend is coming up i may do an update then (if needed) busy during the week
