For the ut2004mod... is there a method to play ostfront like a mod?
The directory are the same of ut...

or... can we make a zip with installed cracked steam files (created with your solution) with reg keys and common/ro so i send it to all clients without the need to connect and register every account of steam?

Well, before Red Orchestra became a buy to play game, they made a free mod for UT2004, Red Orchestra: Combined Arms which you can still download.

It's not as fun as Red Orchestra: Ostfront, but you can still try.

About your idea of putting the Red Orchestra folder from steamapps to the UT2004 folder, will totally not work I presume.

And about the zip folder idea, it's already been done. VG48 posted
it in this thread somewhere, on page 2 I think.

It has all the files to crack steam, to download Red Orchestra, and files to crack steam to play Red Orchestra.

i'm sorry... i tried to copy my steam directory to another pc and used steampatch on it and copying user reg keys too... so it has an account registered... and it works offline. I was wondering if we can create a pack including installed steam + false account reg keys + steampatch.
So i don't need to create an account on a pc without connection.

Most likely we can, but it will create confusion for people who think they can just apply that pack to their existing RO: Ostfront installation - when in fact, any previous installations or rip releases or already setup steam cracks, will almost for sure not work with SteamPatch.rar

That's the downside of SteamPatch.rar - but with the upside being you can host listen or dedicated servers with someone else who setup SteamPatch.rar, connecting to you from anywhere at anytime - just as if you were a legit user.

i am a legit user too

the problem is when i want to port the game in a lan without connection.
I HAVE TO create an account with the internet connection. isn't it?
If there is a program that can create account and install on local machine... it will be awesome. The remaining is to copy a preinstalled steam on a pc. Crack it and then copy common/ro (+ncf) in steamapps.

I see what you mean. It's better off being customized by those that know how to do it. A previously-installed version of Steam shouldn't be posted here, because it doesn't allow the majority to mess with their own custom settings - whatever those may be. Other than that, it's good that you identified here that it's possible to be done. Leave the rest to CS.RIN.RU forumers.

Yes you have to create an account, or preserve one from off-line mode.

So, like I said before, until we get a decent UT2004 knowledgeable user who knows how to unmask hidden source code in .u file packages [it's masked for sure like all other Unreal games...they're not stupid] or until I finish downloading UT2004 and mess around with it for months - Steam.dll will be whipping RO: Ostfront to work with Steam Accounts, and such.
