I copied the gcfs from the steamapps folder to another folder or the ministeam folder. I then launched the program which said to guide me to the steam folder. I did not like the plan, so I guided it to the folder that I created, or if the gcfs are in the MiniSteam folder I pressed cancel. After that the program launches and asks for a name. So I created one, but from there it won't say anything. I try and see what files I need, but no luck. Sorry for any bad grammar. |

If you cancelled Ministeam when searching for the folder, it will result in nothing found. You have to unpack ministeam again, and when it asks where is your steam folder, choose your steam location folder. It will then automaticlly searchi for the steamapps folder inside the steam folder and load the content. Username is just there for cracked online play. |

about lan is that you can make a map drive over the network and have everyone browse to it and then only one person needs steam and the games works great becasue you dont have to transfer anything this also works with steam buster |

You are repeating the same thing as before! As I said I do not want to have MiniSteam guide to my Steam Folder!!! Is their any other way that this can be done. I have legal games and do not want my account to be disabled because of MiniSteam. I just want to deal with the cache files, if possible. Although this prospect of guiding MiniSteam to one computer is intriguing? Does it use any resources, such as bandwith? If only at first, it may be a viable solution. I am surprised I have not done this before?! |

Sorry to be so harsh. Has anyone got their account disabled due to MiniSteam or SteamBuster? |

Ministeam does not require a connection to steam I believe so really your account isn't in any harm. |

ministeam/steambuster/ucl/tiny launcher is an offline launcher which uses steamemu instead of steam's original libaries. you can be sure that your account won't be harmed in any way, since you can also enter random data. |

Hi there, After almost a year I'm returning to this forum (I moved to another country etc...) and I've installed CSS and DODS again to use with Ministeam. Both games still work online with Ministeam 1.4.5, so far so good. Now I'm wanting to use Team Fortress 2 with this launcher, but no succes . I have all the updated GCF files, Team Fortress 2 is shown in the Ministeam gamelist, but it won't start. I guess Ministeam is discontinued? Or is there a fix somewhere I can use? Thx |

Hi guys. I'm using MiniSteam from a very long time. A friend just a got new hard disk and he wanted to download CSS & MiniSteam too. I gave him the link for MS 1.4.2 Full package with all content updates (from the first post), but he said that the link was broken. I checked and really the link doesn't work. Just saying that you can reupload 1.4.2 full package with all content updates to some other site that works. Btw : My comment for MiniSteam is that it's a wonderful program. I still don't have any problems with it. I even manualy got TF2, EP2 & Portal to work |
