K fixed it. 
It was down to ministeam being distrabuted with a slightly older version of hCupa than the latest. Download this. http://www.sendspace.com/file/x1y6kw Drop the minifiles folder in your steam directory. It will ask if you want to replace an existing copy. say yes. Then go into the .Steam/Minifiles/Fixes/ folder and delete the hl1 directory. Its no longer needed. I've decied to to release 1.4 today so this should be shortest used fix ever.

Dude, sorry for my kinda "hard" posting, but I was extremly tired, tried all kind of shit to get GMod 10 running, was finally happy with being able to launch it with MiniSteam and only had in mind, if this app would go and support SourceMods .

.Greetz, Maxunit Greez back at ya. It already supports in the unreleased sourcemods. The reason i was so snappy was because i was generating an ini file for the steamemu (4 smods).It would crash hl2. I would load the ini into ultraedit (which fixed it i now realize) and it would work. It was driving me nuts. for about 3 houtrs. lol. Anyway i found the problem and source mods are now supported, Sorry for the 'tude. @Hells bound. please just live with it for a few hours. I hit some snags repackaging the 1.4 so it took i little longer than expected. Its likely this will fix all your problems. I cant spend anymore time fixing an old version when it slows down me releasing the new version... be cool. |

No, Im fine with the current system thanks.
If experienced people wanna remove the fixpacks thats fine but removing them before distrabution would just break the app for a million noobs in the process.. and thats a truck load of whining i can do without

im not telling this system is bad idea but when You update MiniSteam (just main app) then i hope You will not upload everytime it with same fixes... anyway its just my opinion and still w8ing for mirrors to check it

Added new mirror to the 2 existing ones. check first post Ask me if I care if someone has to wait 3 extra miniutes compared to the amount of time that goes into developing it.
ps Coming from someone thats not fixed hl2 ep1 for over a year these are pretty bold statements to be making. Starting to sound like something other than helpfulness. tbh. just my opinion.... |

thanks for mirrors What i wrote is was just my adive/opinion that You dont have to fallow
and btw HL2Ep1 i never had problem in launching it with sbrev or UGL/UCL so i never seen point to fix that edit: rofl Megaupload says that all slots are reserved for premium user xD http://www.badongo.com/ <-- this is thebest for me thanks

MiniSteam 1.4 makes me happy! EDIT: Trixstar, you're awesome for making this app, but don't be hatin' on Sasio. That'll get you into a lot of fights on this site. I'm not threatening you, just giving you cautionary advice. EDIT EDIT: There's no play button? And the taskbar icon says it's 1.3? But the RAR file says 1.4. Is it possible for you to code different options for viewing? I preferred the style in 1.2. Please look into this. Thank you. |
