the file is a windows_XP_SP2 REATOGO basic with all softwares that let play hl hl2 doom for nvidia graphic and ati 128 .
soundcards : crystal , ds-xg , soundmax 1888 ; 5.1 , realtek ac 97 7.1 .
netcards : realtek 8139 , intels ... : one ip 192.168.1.4 in lan / linux ip 192.168.1.3
ssci ide sata support .

the folder iso_wamp had 2 exe : extract on c:\ css_wanm.exe ; ftptornt.exe c:\wamm\typsoft .
user can surf the web with ie6 , filezila or ws_ftp , utorrent 1.61 or 1.7 b 2248 ; opens files with winrar or bzip2

a mail server : winwebmail 3.7.3.2 ; it has a basic configuration using opendns servers ips and a domain server name of dyndns.servegame.org , i edited the host and lmhost to have ip 127.0.0.1 for this domain . these files should be editeds before burning cdrom , in the case of servers use [ no problem of edit the iso for gamers only ], ultraiso or winimage can do it . for pc in lan same should be done with server ip .

tftpserv is updated to version 1.11
utorrent to 1.71



server css is revcss.iso file 945 MB (991,860,736 bytes) . better place to mount : usb 1 Go [ grml 1 needed / burn it to boot grml1 then use grml2usb with iso url / use 1Go usb or some toram starts could fails [ toram=anti-lags guaranteed ]] or "dvd+hd boot" : copy GRML folder to disk c: or d: so after boot file is read fastly .

what the pc to start them ?

i have 2 cpus : amd 3000+ x64_1.5Gram p4 3000 ht x64_2Gram / 6200-pcix16 6600-agp
win xp uses one cpu even if others ;[ / mem used all servers on : 200 Mo
grml can uses multi-cpus / mem used [1 Go with toram : all files in RAM by copying GRML ] server css off .

css_server has pluggins engines so it is better to use multicpus for well doing .
win xp has servers that does not load a lot in cpu_usage , while a high number of crappys services are not installeds 8-p

first operation in the hardware_network is to configure the router .
all my settings are made with linux ip 192.168.1.3 and windows ip 192.168.1.4

ip 192.168.1.3 ports 27015 27016 upd css server , 21 tcp ftp server [ closed if xp ftp server is online ]
ip 192.168.1.4 ports 80 [web apache], 6969 [tracker] ,27017[games ,27018 utorrent], 8080 [hfs] tcp udp, 21 tcp ftp server [ closed if linux ftp server is online ] .

window starts with network ip "off" set it without restart .
register wamp services and start wampmanager , then hfs who shall use port 8080 .
you can play with steam legit , cracked , extracted , steambuster from hds

grml , at prompt , type netcardconfig to start network . to start ftp servers you type at prompt :
modprobe capability
mkdir /home/ftp

server needs :
cd /UNIONFS/css
here you can edit cfg files using mc : RCON PASSWORD and sv_downloadurl in autoexec.cfg / ip of ps3web : 192.168.1.4 . metamod ini file or vdf , "//" comments line

./srcds_run -game cstrike -port 27015 -preload -tickrate 65 +map cs_office +maxplayers 9 +clientport 27016

download : Rev_Css_Wamp_Ps3_XP.iso.bz2 and css_rev_maps.exe , to play css at max speed 500 Mo css_rev_maps.exe had to executed in the css\maps folder . use bunzip2.exe of css_rev_maps.exe or winrar to extract iso file of Rev_Css_Wamp_Ps3_XP.iso.bz2 . Rev_Css_Wamp_Ps3_XP.iso is a bootable xp with d3d9 drivers for most nvidia cards . in all case you can use this win to defrag your hds ....
others files are for css linux 1000Mo

sixcentgeorge, It looks like you have put a lot of effort into this post at least an hours work of work Im guessing.
Unfortunatly it currently reads like a badly converted pdf document.

I have some ideas that will make your post better and only take a few second.

1. Try to break your posts down into line-by-line instructions. Its easier to read and easier for the user to see when he is up to.

2. Use Bold text for Headings. Again it breaks up the page a little and makes the pages of info look less daunting.

3. Try to be clear what the aim of your post is on the Thread-Title and add jokes like "rip and burn" to the last line of a short introduction. It looks more professional and you will attract more viewers.

4. Inline links look really messy unless they are done really well. Try describing the chapter and adding the links to the bottom of that instructions section.

5. Hope this helps and thanks for making the effort. I look for to reading the MKII version

you boot the server linux in few nmns
servers files can not be corrupteds .....


windows side is very cool with 2 http servers : anyone with it can hold his private website online ;] .
and windows files can not be corrupteds .....


try to read first posts with all files on hd / the cdroms are made to help the small cooperatives clans that want hold good server css .

servers css linux , hfs or ps3web can be hosteds by others than one only : the server-game owners . 2 or 3 ips work "better" than 1 ;]
