No, the update link is wrong. If you rename the updated exe file to .html you can see that the link is down..

Hi

i am trying to download TF2 but Steam always tells me

"The Steam Server are too busy to handle your request. Try again a few minutes later"

Well, I have now waited over 15 hours and it still wont download and always gives me this message...

Any ideas?

Could someone explain to me, what I have to to, to play TF2?

Because there are so much threads and really dont know what I need and what I dont need...

I really appreciate your help, I have used this GCF files and also used first P3ng3ls Steam launcher and then tried it with the undead patch. But damn....I still get the message with the busy servers :(

No, you need to download the GCF's from the Steam Content Sharing forum. The whole forum is dedicated to that. :P Make sure the files are up-to-date and you shouldn't have any problems. :wink:

Yeah I finally made it, TF2 is downloading for now...

Does the game update itself after finished?

No, the game doesn't update itself. You need to download updates for you're game files from the sticky thread in the SCS forum. Or, if you can't find what you're looking for you can request an update at the other sticky. Making and applying updates can be done with CF Toolbox (it's a tool, which you can find in the Main Forum). 8) Good luck! :P

When I try to download a game, it says that the steam servers are currently too busy to handle my request and I should try again in few minutes.
I've tried for couple of days now but still no luck.

What to do?

Go in the SteamContent Section and download the game you want, oh and read the FAQ,......
