which folder should I put the tf2 client content in? I've tried putting it in the steamapps folder but it doesn't work. I'm using the latest pengel's launcher. thanks for the help! |

I Downloaded it-...... After i Started P3ng3lsteam,Kaspersky sayed there is an trojan.generic! here is an Image 
sry but it is german..I didnt downloaded anything other things at this day.... |

MacSE If I read it correctly it says: "found: eventually dangerous software Trojan.generic: Process C:\Programme\SteamCrack\SteamTemp.exe" don't know but p3ng3l's launcher doesn't creates such a file AFAIK, or at least there was no such process on my sys running. However the launcher is clean. |

this program doesnt run the steam any more...what is wrong? it's tring to login but closes.the same problem with the undead patch. maybe steam has realese a patch to block the cracked steam? pls anyone has the same problem? |

@ChrisTX: I removed everything about a few days from my Pc...And now i downloaded P3ng3ls Steamlauncher again(yesterday)....I have copyed the normal steam.exe , i put the steam.exe to /steamcrack and updated the normal steam files...After that i copyed the P3ng3l stuff and started steam and then Kaspersky had found this virus...So there are 3 things why i got this Virus: 1.I got the virus before(I Removed anything of my pc so there cant be a Virus) 2.Ì get a Virus from Steam(Oo) 3.P3ng3ls update got a Virus... By the way i removed P3ng3ls steam launcher and deleted this virus... Sry for my bad English |

christakos That's because the launcher uses undeadpatch. And because of a bug undeadpatch doesn't works on some sys (mine's working, but that's how it is). MacSE well I can assure you however that p3ng3l's launcher is 100% no virus. maybe kaspersky detects the unpacking or whatever. However it didn't said that it's a virus, but it could be a virus. But p3ng3l's launcher is clean (a virus without creating registry startup entries would be pointless for example) |

yes, somme virus scanners see it as a virus (becous it infects steam.exe i think) but P3ng3ls Steamlauncher is 100% clean virus. anyway i have a update error, translation : c:/... the "NTVDM-CPU" fond/did a illigal operation ..... chose close, ignore (<- then it freaks out) ps : sorry for my bad english

Yeah google for Trojan.generic and you'll find that it's the behaviour based engine. Probably coz of the changes at steam.dll And try to update manually. |
