If someone stole my maps I would make a writing in all my maps with the name of this guy and say the truth about him, so that people can see what a sucker he is. And yes, for alone playing it's ok.

I have a question , is every bsp protected or not ? And if not what kind of maps are protected ?

No not every bsp is protected. Maps are protected if their authors protect them with special tools.

Correct, they can simple add a keyvalue to something in the map:
Or just download an protector and put into the map. You can see one at the first post of this thread.
